Regional Sales Manager, Central U.S.

Our client (who is very big in work/life balance and having fun at work!) is seeking an enthusiastic, personable, results-oriented and self-sufficient Regional Sales Manager to make presentations to architects and communicate and work with their rep agent network focusing on Chicago and the greater Midwest!

You will utilize your passion for architecture and design and enjoyment in sharing that with your customers/clients, your good personality, fearlessness in asking questions, superior follow-up and excitement about working on great projects, combined with your experience working closely with the lighting design specification community, as you make presentations to architects and lighting designers. You will also work closely with your peers, as well as our client’s inside sales team.

Our ideal candidate is currently a Specification Sales Representative, Regional Manager or Lighting Designer with sales or business development experience, is based in the Chicago Metro area, is good with a lot of autonomy, can be humorous (yet knows when to get to work!), is a self-starter and is hungry to grow the Chicago (and greater Midwest) market. You have the unique opportunity to build your own personal brand within our client’s! Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM tool is not critical but highly preferred. IES and/or IALD involvement is a real plus. Degree preferable but not essential with relevant experience. 50% travel.
