Vice President of Marketing


Our client company (a well-respected manufacturer of innovative architectural lighting with whom we have placed several people) is seeking a strategic, very creative Vice President of Marketing to direct their overall marketing efforts and manage your marketing team!

You will use your superior listening skills, your understanding of architectural lighting to recognize opportunities, interface with the lighting design market and an ability to tell a story with your marketing skills as you lead your marketing team, interface within the lighting market (in order to hear the voice of the customer) and develop a plan for continued growth. Your ability to review our client’s go-to-market strategy and then do a strategic analysis to come up with a marketing plan and your ability to listen to your team and then add value will also be a part of your success.

Our ideal candidate is currently a Vice President of Marketing, Director of Marketing or Marketing Manager with an architectural lighting manufacturer, an architectural products (furniture, carpet, tile, etc.) manufacturer or at a large architectural firm or interior design firm who understands the specification/construction market. Our ideal candidate also demonstrates a strong record of growth (and her/his knowledge of how to achieve it) and great strategic, analytical and management skills. Ability to create a great SWOT by talking to customers and asking the right questions is a real plus. BS/BA degree in Marketing or Business is a strong preference, MBA is a plus; 25% travel.
